Redmond,
Yes, I would expect a bit of variance on the edge of the shield, but
not too much!
BTW, I got home last night (actually, early this morning) and found my
new toy waiting for me.
So, like any self-respecting "computer-geek", instead of going to bed,
I went to the dungeon to fire up the card.
First impression….VERY nice!
I might have some questions in the near future about the optimum
settings and which would be the best program to use (SetXA, AutoXA, or some
file that I have no clue from where it came, ROMTAG).
Keep up the great work.

AutoXA is the best to use!
(I have the same config as you, except an 8M Simm)
btw, you can use the Commodore supplied CPU command to map kickstart into
ram, to squeeze another few percentage points of speed out of it. (Just
have it after the AutoXA program.)
Bob,
Yes, I was just on the phone to the seller and he mentioned about CPU.
(I completely forgot about it – for shame!)
He gave me a program called "ROMTAG" which has, so far, done a fine
job.
I have two quibbles that I am about to post to Redmond about, but from
a perfomance standpoint, I'm impressed.
It's so nice to be able to run MultiPlayer while using my terminal!
Joe
Glad to hear you like it, Joe!

Well, I long ago came to the conclusion that Microbotics makes great
products. Merely further confirmation.
