I have a problem installing Animation Player for Windows that came
with my Animator Pro package. After initial 20 seconds of
installation, the install program returns a General Protection Fault
message with some numbers that only software guru may decipher.
However I happened to notice that those numbers correspond to the
names of my graphic card display drivers. I have a Diamond Speedstar
24x card, and I run their windows driver. What can I do about it?
Hello Radoslaw,
One thing you can try is to have your system's graphics run under
VESA. Also, when you're following the Installation section of the
Player Reference manual, did "aasetup" prompt you with "Does your
computer have a VGA monitor installed?" Did the win.ini and
system.ini files get modified by aasetup? (page 4) and did anything
get copied to your destination directory? (step 7 page 5)
