gotta question for ya.. ive reset the wb colors to one of the
presets. ("sunset" is what is was) now when ever i boot i get a
message that states that intution is trying to reset the wb, close
all windows.. then it disappears with no action from me and the
workbench comes up in the preset colors… is this normal???
Actually, I've never tried anything but the default colors- I must be
boring! That reset message is normal if you change overscan. I've
no idea what's going on with the preset to behave like you've stated,
but maybe someone else here (like Dale Larson, hint, hint) can help.
Whenever you change any screen parameters, you have to have all
drawers and windows closed. When you boot, one CLI window is open,
at the front. The last thing the Amiga does when it starts WB is to
close that CLI window, thus allowing your pallette to change.
