Thanks for the reply. I found some (sparse) documentation on using
aaplay.dll with Visual Basic. I wish to call aaplay.dll from a
Microsoft Visual C++ program …. is this possible, or is this DLL
only for Visual Basic programs? I also got an Autodesk MCI driver
from the network with again, sparse documentation. Is this generally
what people programming in C/C++ use? Thanks again for your help.

There are two documents printed, "Autodesk Animation Player for Windows – C
Programmer's Reference Manual" and "…..-Microsoft Visual Basic Programmer's
