I found the problem, it was ME. I have changed drives many times before
and I don't know what I was thinking about when I added the SeQuest 3105S.
What I was doing wrong was forgetting to click on the save changes to
drive button after reading the drive configuration into toolbox.
This afternoon the installation went 1-2-3, bang it was up and running.
I sat back and thought about what I had done and the light bulb came
on…

This is one nice drive, I still have to check out changing out
cartriges as I only have one at the moment, but I can eject the the
cartridge and reinsert it with no problems…

Glad you got it resolved. Everybody's entitled to do stuff like that
once in a while. 🙂
BTW, the other controller card I mentioned was for the IDE version of
the 105 Syquest.
