#Amiga Quiz maker??
8 messages in this thread
CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I am looking for a program where I can take
information and build a multiple-choice test out of it. Kind of a
quiz game, to help me study. If anyone knows how I can do this, or
if there are any programs out there (shareware, or commercial) that
can help me, I would really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in
advance.
There used to be some quiz programs in the General Applications
library here in AmigaUser. I have not checked for them lately, but I
suspect some are still there.

they must have drifted off the libs. I checked through the libs
and nothing there, although I did make some remarkable finds for my
needs. I really need to go through the libs file by file, someday.
I'm sorry they are gone. Strange, isn't it? With earlier machines –
and still with some other platforms – little applications like
quiz-makers and the like are very popular items, but on the Amiga
they are rarely written, and we have few calls for them. I suspect
that the Amiga simply is not being used much for education purposes.
Also, such things were often written quickly in BASIC and BASIC is
just not used for the Amiga.
I do hope you find what you need, for they have been around.

Betty,
I don't need it, Shane Hasert does. I wrote one in dBase ages ago. I
wish I had kept the code when I left the Navy.
Brian,
I know such a beast exists in at least two incarnations. There's some
German program on the FF collection and I believe I had another one from
JumpDisk. Also, using a program like HyperBook, one could very easily
construct this quiz thing.

Heck, if you're really intrepid, I believe there's even an Amiga
version of the old aged PILOT language floating around on one of the
earlier Fish disks.
Hi Shane,
I think there is some kind of quiz maker in the AmigaVend forum under the
INOVAtronics section. Might be a little old and in need of re-doing, but it's a
start.
