Does anyone know how I can contact a dealer who can set me up with a DPS PAR in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. It really sounds like that is the direction I want to go in the short term. Any idea on what the availibility of this equipment is? Any comments on quality ease of use, etc… –Nat'n

Nathan: We will be carrying the DPS PAR as soon as it is available. As the ones writing the software for it, we would probably be rather good at tech support! Greg Pyros

I've been following all the threads about this DPS PAR thing in the last time – sounds great !!! The only problem I have: I'm working in Germany, so I would need a PAL version. Do you know if there will be a PAL-compatible version of the DPS PAR ? Or will all we PAL-freaks be left alone <g> ?

>> will be a PAL-compatible version of the DPS PAR ? Good question! I'll check on it and get back to you.

The DPS supports NTSC and PAL with a command line switch, no different version needed!

Brilliant! That means if I buy a DPS PAR and move to Australia I'll be able to do PAL without buying a whole new board.

Greg, Thanks for the info! Sounds like the DPS is exactly what I've been looking for. Will it be available this year, or '94? BTW, I have a little problem here: none of the dealers I've asked has ever heard of DPS ! Is there a way to contact DPS to get dealer/distributor list for Germany ? Many thanks, Marco

We are carrying them, and will provide up-to-the-minute information as it gets released! Save those pennies for a tax-deductable Christmas present! <g>

I've put it on my wishlist. It's going to be a BIG one this year (I guess Santa will have to rent a van to get all those things to me <g>)

Don't Know anyone up in that area , but I am currently using a DPS par card in my Amiga systems that are tied into a Novell Network (I dump my frames from 3D Studio to the Network and Dump them to the DPS Card) works like a dream The card works great !!! Would strongly recommend it to you ! Look for a Amiga Dealer in your area to see if the can get it or if you want to see one in Use , Have not seen the DOS version yet !

GregP is a good source. If you need someone local then it may be too early, since the PC version isn't shipping yet. You could try DPS in Kentucky (606)371-5533 to see if they have a dealer network set up for the PC version yet. The board is great and even better is the cost/performance ratio. I've said lots of things about it in other threads, so I don't want to repeat myself any more than I already have.
