#People with clothes !
8 messages in this thread
I need people-meshes for 3DS with clothes ON ! 🙂 I have seen that
there are a couple of companies talking about some people meshes in
this forum. Please contact me as soon as possible !
Rachel Rosenthal, sells People meshes, leave her a message, 71064,1654.
Rachel is in Phoenix after the mess Laguna Beach turned into (forest
fires). Leave her a message and she will be back to you as soon as
she can.

It all depends on your needs. I've been using two different
approches, as appropriate:
Rachel's people are low resolution with extremely low face counts –
that means you can use lots of them if you don't need closeup detail
or movement. They render very quickly with minimal memory
requirements and look great along with building and other long
shots. They are inexpensive and you get a lot of variety in each
package. (The best manual in the business, too!) People For People:

If you need high detail for closeups or moveable joints for animating,
it's hard to beat Tom Knight's models. (even the eyelids and
eyeballs are detailed) He has a male and a female model, each around
$400 I think, and worth every penny. Each model comes with a variety
of texture-mapped clothing which can be added or removed as desired.
The tradeoff for all this detail is as expected: models take much
more time and memory to render. Tom Knight: 408-395-5211

Great question! Seems like Rachel Rosenthal (sorry about the spell)
and John Ellis are the official architectural people makers in the
forum. Both are here, so you can talk with them. I think that both
have examples (rendered) of their people in the ASOFT libraries, so
take a look and decide what looks better to you.
