Is anyone having trouble finding Amiga DOS 2.1? Does anyone have a
suggestion as to how to get DOS 2.1?
My dealer has it in stock, so it can't be that hard to get.
Grapevine advertises it also.

I've had ADOS 2.1 for some time now. I got it from Creative Computers.
Try calling them.

I've been told by several of the mail order houses that 2.1's been
backordered for several months now, but they expect to see it "real
soon now". Don't remember if Creative was one of the ones that I
called. I never know if these guys are feeding me a line of bullsh*t
or not… one person even told me that he didn't expect to see 2.1 at
all ever again (a hint at a new version, or just a reflection of C='s
current financial straits – you decide).
I have sources that tell me that other shipment of 2.1 both in
ROM/Disk an and Disk kits will be hitting the shores soon. I believe
that there will be enough for backorders, but I'm not to sure about
new orders. Let's hope that Commodore's sales this holiday season
will be good.
