#corrupted archive

I just recently downloaded AIVE.LZH and have found that the archive is corrupted. I am using LZ. I was unable to decompress this archive. Thought you might like to know. Jeff // From Upstate SC \X/ ….on AutoPilot

I just tried using LZ, and you're correct, LZ couldn't handle it. I used the utility LHA to extract the files, and that worked. Steve

Jeff, Try LHA138.RUN from Library 16 of AmigaUser. LZ frequently fails to unpack things properly, but LHA138 works. —Betty

Jeff, Try dumping LZ and grabbing LX. It is much smaller and faster. Can be made resident. Same author. Hasn't choked yet…;) It is in the AmigaUser Librarys I believe as "LX.LHA". // Gary Vander Mei on Auto-Pilot \X/
