John: >How much do the Windows/NT vers. cost? How much to u/g from Amiga R3DV2 to >the other platforms? Some day I'd like to go with the ALPHA vers., but how >can I get a demo for Windows? The Windows NT version is $1995 US. Right now you can upgrade from Amiga>NT for $799. Also you can model on Amiga and render on NT with the NT render engine for $349. The Windows Demo (save disabled) is done but we are adding some more tutorial info which will take a few weeks. Send me your address and I will get one out to you. Adam Godfrey RSI

The NT render engine sounds very cool :^) Can you tell us what kind of speed increases to expect rendering on say P90 or MIPS machines? I'm sure with this kind of speed R3dv2 would become easier to use. I just wish it could load LW objects or the likes. :^) ….John

Hi John: you wrote: >Can you tell us what kind of speed increases to expect rendering on say >P90 or MIPS machines? ROUGH. I also heard that the Raptor Plus may be able to render Real files. LW and other poly based objects will be easily importable in the next release… Adam Godfrey RSI
