"PageStream3 was released before we were completely finished with it, because people wanted it now to learn how to use it. If you don't think it's ready for your use yet, then put it on the shelf for another 4-6 weeks…" To say the least! Mike, I can't even try and learn the new features! Each time I load and examine 3.0 & now 3.0a I'm rebooting the computer within a few seconds/minutes afterwards. Today I decided to explore the new TAB features. Looks impressive (all the new features are)! Wow, just what I've been wanting in an Amiga DTP program. But I've only gotten as far as choosing a few tab stops, when I click on OK or APPLY I get either a tremendous crash (screen goes all crazy colors) or nothing no longer works, I can move the pointer and click on icons but nada happens. I'm wondering why you'd release this version with the text entry speed at -0.0001xx/minute? All these wonderful new features are useless if you can't do basic text entry via manual keyboarding. I would prefer less activated features and speedy text entry for the first release. That is what a DTP program should do quickly, enter text for manipulation by a plethora of features. If you can't enter and display the text what is the sense of having the features? Yup, your right, It will go on the shelf, and I'll forget you sent it to me, except for the fact I've paid for it already and can't use it! Nice manual, nice looking interface, well thought out feature laden program, but totally useless (for me) so far. <sigh> this reminds me of v1.6! 🙁 BTW, my setup is 10MB of RAM (2MB chip, 4MB/16bit, 4MB/32bit), 500MB of storage, '030 @33Mhz in an B2000 Amiga using a FF for non-interlaced display on a 16" multisync.
