#Upgrade Fever!!!

Betty, et. al,
I'm about to install the new software and I have a couple of questions
that you can help me with. I saw you say, Betty, that one should use the
startup-sequence that is on the Install disk and use your own
startup-sequence as the user-sequence file. I haven't had things set up
to use workbench, I go to a menu. How do I get the startup-sequence to go
to my list? Read the docs, right?
This is going really great. I got the 12 megs into the G-Force today.
I've solved the drive termination problem on the BB side. Bought a
scanner, backed up my HD. Can't wait to drop the G-Force in there, I know
it's gonna fry my brain! Heh, heh. Man, this is fun!!! Just missed a
clearance sale on those GVP SIMMS at $155.00/4 megs. Missed it by a day.
Ended up paying $209.00, not too bad.

Davey,
It is recommended that you leave the Commodore Start-up Sequence exactly
as you received it. Create a file named User-Startup in which you put
your own things. User-Startup will run automatically when you boot. If
you want to use a menu you already have, then put that menu filename last
in the commands in your User-Startup. I use ToolManager myself. Puts
everything I use in a pull-down menu on the Workbench.

I haven't even begun to sample the new features of 3.1. I'm sure I will
be revising the entire way I operate, but until then…
