Anyone have any ideas on why a GVP 4008+ Scsi controler works fine in an
A2000 rev 6.2, but has many problems in a rev 4.4?
4.4 machine will boot, WB2 will come up, but when I try to open any windows
the machine locks up and drive light stays on. 4.4 does as long as extra RAM is
in machine. If I take out the extra RAM machine wil not boot. If I use a
DataFler Card in the 4.4 it works fine, but I need the GVP for it's DMA
ablities.

My memory is that one of the older A2000 motherboards (I forget which
one) had problems with the bus driver circuitry. There was a fairly simple
fix…unfortunately I forget which rev and the fix…but hopefuly one of the
other members will recall it.
