Hi, Could anyone out there give me their opinions on PAR and RazorPro, for use with 3DS and possibly I have heard 60fps video capture? I am sorry if others have discussed this topic to death, I have just been instructed to look into this setup, so any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, we have just purchased Elastic Reality, and I have heard that there is some sort of add-on that will allow ER to be used with RazorPro. Does anyone know of this? I have played with Razor, and have had some difficulties, is RazorPro better? Also, As for the PAR, are there any suggestions for the type drive to be used with it, or is this predetermined? Thanks for all help, as I know 3ds pretty well, but I am completely ignorant about the PAR setup and how it works. I downloaded the 2 files in the library, so maybe they will clear some of it up for me. Doug

Thanks Brendan, I'll pass your number to my advisor and maybe we'll have some questions for you. Right now, he is on the verge of purchasing thePAR, but wants to know if people are happy with it, etc. Doug

>>allow ER to be used with RazorPro. Does anyone know of this? Yes I know.. The Add on is not released yet but is supposed to be announced at the end of the month.. This is not a direct connect between ER and Razor Pro but between Transjammer (a transition creation system) and Razor Pro.. >>I have heard 60fps video capture? If you buy the TBCIV board you can capture video.. >>is RazorPro better? more robust when its finished.. Its still in Beta but soon to be finished. Probably in a couple of months.. And it works with the PARS natural file format.. The Micropolis 1.7 gig IDE they recomend is probably the standard used now by most. Street price about 900. Its really great stuff but still young.. Hope this helps. Bob The Design Shop..

Thanks a lot Bob, I'll pass this on to my advisor. He is on the verge of purchasing the PAR, but wants to make sure that others using it are satisfied and that it will be worth the expense. Doug
