So for a typical render of 15 mins/frame (with 64 megs memory), you would
charge $1 per machine hour to render my files? Heck, I'm going to sell all my
machines and send everything to you! <bg>
How many machines do you have, and how much memory?
Greg Pyros
I'll do it for that price. So long as you buy every hour on the machine for
the next 24 months.

Such a deal! How are you doing?
Greg Pyros
I'm just a generous guy. <g>
I've been on the road a lot — about 3 days a week. But it's paid consulting,
so who can complain.

Greg,
We have a minium of 7 machines on-line. A combination of 486DX-66s' and
P5-90s' with 32 meg each. We can and do add more systems as needed. The
single biggest problem we have now is HD space on the server. Have 3.5gb, but
that is too small, waiting for a new 9gb to add to the server.
The MAX has been a great addition. As the server fills we create the animation
streams in sections and free up disk space.

Would like to see your project files. You doing broadcast animations?
Please do, send us all you have. We'll put you in the queue.
Regards,
Shaun

Yup. I promise to send you all my film resolution projects from now on! <g>
Yes, the new 9 gigs sure increase storage space. We have the Seagate, got a
bad one to start with, but the replacement has performed flawlessly. We load
all the animated backgrounds on one disk and render to the other.

Just be sure you pay COD, Greg. Otherwise he might make it up in 6% interest
on 15 year CDs on your deposit while your stuff renders. <BG>
