I hope someone can help me with the following: There is a small ditty (?orchestral) that was theme music for a movie around 1977. I would like to use it in a few animations. 1: Is it possible to actually purchase the composition and production? 2: Would the cost be exhorbitant? 3. Where do I find out about paying royalty fees? Any ideas are appreciated! M.O.B.

The answer to all your questions regarding multimedia copyright can be found in a book entitled Multimedia Law Handbook. Published this year by Ladera Press, it is written by J. Dianne Brinson and Mark F. Radcliffe. I recently purchased this book and have found it to be invaluable for such information. I hope this helps. Dean Oliver Virtually Real
