For Sale – 1. Diaquest DQ422 frame controller.
2. Lyon-Lamb ENC-7 transcoder. RGB to Betacam,S-Video, &
composite.

Craig I may be in need of a frame controller. Will know next week. However if
you could email some information about those boxes. Which beta decks (ie:
BVW-75) they work with, also cabling req. and pricing.
Is the Lyon Lamb you are calling a transcoder, what I know as their scan
convertor?

Gilbert, thanks for responding. The Diaquest DQ422 I have is an older model
(approx. 5 yrs) but in excellent condition, in fact it has'nt been used in
probably at least 3 years. I do believe it is upgradable (the rom I guess) to
current versions. When I was using it I had over a period of time used it with
both a BVW-75 and PVW-2800 without any problems what so ever. I still have the
cables for hooking the board up to the 9-pin on the back of any sony protocol
deck. Without rambling too much more, it is a good board and works fine with
both Topas and 3DS3.
The Lyon-Lamb ENC-7 is a trascoder. It will take the RGB signal out of any
Targa/Vista board and convert it to Betacam SP (R-y,B-y,Y), S-VHS (Y-c), and
composite video.
I converted a while back to an all PowerMac setup and sold all my pc
hardware/software, these are my last remnants.
