#Press Release Semantics?
7 messages in this thread
This is Brandon Bartlett with DesignTec. We are about to start
offering a rendering service for 3D-Studio users (among others) and
would like to post a press release in the Autodesk Multimedia forum.
Can we post the message in multipe sections, to achieve maximum
readership?
Can we post it repeatedly, say every month or so?
Are there any other requirements, prohibitions, etc. that you think we
should know about and observe?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Post it once in the Take 5 section only. Commercial advertising is
frowned upon on the forum. If you come off like an auctioneer the
sysop will probably bar you from the forum. <BG>
Thanks,
I can't type fast enough to sound like an auctioneer, though. <g>
The best is to create a press release as a file and upload it to the
libraries, then make a single announcement stating what you do and
that the file is up there. CIS does not allow blatant advertising,
but a tasteful press release is always welcome.
Thanks,
Great Idea!
Brandon
Anytime! And good luck!
