Hello Adesk: 3dsr4's Preliminary Technical specifications shows an feature called a Spline-Based Modeler. Will this still be included in this upgrade? " No it will not. >> Uhhhh?!? your saying when I upgrade r3 to r4 I get everything in the press release file EXCEPT the spline based modeler right, I hope not… what else is included or excluded? Today at the big Chicago Autodesk to-do they said that the Spline modeler will definitely _not_ be included in the r4 upgrade. Please say it ain't so. If this is true, it's quite a disappointment. What are the reasons?

Say, what?! It's my understanding that spline-based modeling is one of the main features of R4…are we talking about semantics here?…i.e. spline-based modelING will be possible, but there will not be a specific spline-based modelER?
