Does Any one know how I can setup a seytem for Video Mixing
with effects similar to the Amiga Video Toaster

Hi Dane,
In my opinion two devices that are very similar to the NewTek Video
Toaster that run on Windows based IBM compatibles are the Pinncale Alladin
and the FAST Video Machine. Your computer is pretty much ready to go with
either product, and they do not tap into your VGA card, although the more
power/RAM/HD you have the better.

Dane,
I've never used any of this equipment but have tracked reviews for the past few
months of varios multimedia and desktop video magazines. The Fast Video
Machine seems like the product to beat for $4000. The vast number of effects
this product has is amazing. I've seen a demo of this product and was blown
away. Wish I had the budget.
