I'd like to second Ron's comments re: HyperBook. I bought it soon after I
got my Amiga and I still use it, primarially as a multimedia flowcharting
and prototyping tool. I love it because of it's elegant interface which
combines considerable control in a very intuitive manner.

It's nice to hear of someone _else_ currently using Hyperbook. One of the
shortcomings I've run into is the lack of scrollable text boxes (I know it
wasn't really meant to do them, but hey, pushing the envelope is what the
Amiga is all about, riight?).
Have you by any chance developed or come across a way to do this?

I've seen some books that use List objects to display scrolling text. Not very
elegant, and you have to format the text line-by-line, but it works.

No, I normally only use small comments. The only thing I could think of
would be to use an "Item List" and simply not assign any actions to each
line. I works but it isn't the most efficient nor elegant way to solve
the problem. The other solution would be to have it display the text in
the text reader but then you loose the screen display.
What I do with HB is pretty basic (I have never even used the ARexx
capabilities). If I want something more fancy I either use AmigaVision or
Helm.
