Does anyone have any experience with the new parallel port frame grabber the "Snappy." It sounds ideal for me since I use a notebook computer. Does it input S-Video? Can the scan lines be cleaned up with the software included or is there software that clears them up? Thanks in advance. Rixon Reed photo-eye books & prints

Hi Rixon, From what I know S-Video Connectors will be an optional "daughter-board" or the like. Snappy does come with a paint program for touch-up although I am not sure that you would really have to deal with "scan-lines" per se, as I think that they are a function of the TV, not the camcorder. -John

I am awaiting a unit for review now. It does accept S-Video input and the software which is included supposedly includes line-doubling technology. I'll be able to say more after I have seen the unit. James Bell Jr. — Multimedia Contributor – CompuServe
