Okna Tech Support:
I am wondering how I obtain the network version of DeskTop Set.
DTS is a stand alone product. A network version will be available in 4.2 which
is due for release first quarter 95.

I don't want to stir up trouble, but is this a realistic time frame? The
reason I'm asking is that in August '93 I was told that a network version was
to be released in October '93.
I really like your product, and so does our test group. But even with the
work-arounds we've come up with we're still having problems (mostly sharing
violations, or not being able to open a phone book) and the powers-that-be are
getting a little itchy.

No problem. Konstantin and the developers come up with what they consider to be
realistic time frames and those are the dates we give you. Unfortunately, as
most developers will readily admit, those dates are ofter optomistic and need
to be adjusted as the release date nears. We have increased the size of our
development group significantly in the last year and so with many more minds
working on updates and upgrades, you should be seeing a much faster turn-around
of releases coming from Okna. We do appreciate your patience in waiting for
the Network version and from what I have heard, you won't be disappointed.
