#GPF on Export From Phone

Yesterday, I tied to export a group of names and addresses from Phone Book, all assigned to a single category. I am trying to export them to a Quattro-compatible file. When I hit the "Export" button to send the records to the new file, I get a GPF with the message "Book caused a General Protection Fault in module OKNA.DLL at 0004:0069" I used File Doctor to clean up and pack the records, then re-tried the export, with the same result. This GPF really goofs things up – when I exit Windows, I don't get a C> prompt, I just get a cursor on screen. I have to cold boot to get back to normal operation.

Tim, I have a couple questions to try to track this down. Does this happen with all your categories, or just the one? Does it happen with any other file formats? It could be that the okna.dll file has gotten corrupted. You can solve this by reinstalling DeskTop Set (this won't harm your data). If reinstalling doesn't help, let me know the answers to the questions above. Sincerely, Martine Carlson Okna Technical Support

If I try it with a different category, I get an error message "no records found or bad file name." I'll try reinstalling the program – my disks are at home, so I can't do it today.

I tried reloading the program from the distribution disk, and then again tried to get a file export. I got the same GPF as before, same message and code error location. I have done file exports satisfactorily in the past, but I'm not having any luck now. I need to do this to notify friends and correspondents of our move, so I don't want to wait a long time.
