Meteorite List

Hi Doug,
I thought it was possible for a member to delete things they contributed to in
the libraries but could not figure out how to do, so I am sending off a note
to you.
I need to delete my meteorite list because it is way outdated and I have few of
the specimens in it for sale anymore (long gone). I am working on another list
but think this time I will offer to send to anyone requesting it considering
the low turnout of people who downloaded the first. If you have any idea on
this please let me know.

Hi, Al–
I am passing on the request to delete METINV.TXT.
Did you notice the recent Scientific American (Oct 94)? It has an article
about the origin of life on Earth that mention the possible role of meteors as
carriers of organic precursors of life. The article does not go into a great
amount of detail but puts it in context with related theories.

Hi Doug,
No haven't seen that issue of Scientific America but will keep an eye out at
the library or my friends house who will have that issue. Thanks on the
information. Sounds like it might be worth reading and down my alley as it is
related to meteorites. I know there is speculation on most of Earth's water
coming from meteoroid material.
Later!
