I'm getting ready to install OS/2 very soon. After suffering with Mr. Gates wrath on the public ( Windoze…) I'm ready for a real operating system. I look forward to jumping from the material editor to Photostyler for map customizing and then back. Maybe a new section for 3DS- OS/2 users in the forum if there is enough support (?) Bill

OS2 been around for awhile and they have most the bugs worked out now. It still leaves something to be desired as far as the interface goes. But at least it's not as fragile as windows, I had to delete half my icons today becouse windows would'nt allocate enough memory for them. Chicago will take atleast another year to work the bugs out. But for now OS2'S the best. I'm sure if a few people put their resourses togeather we could figure out a few 3d-studio specific tricks. I had a 3d-studio slave session going with another session happening at the same time but without more ram or multi-processors it's to slow. Let me know what you think of it when you get it installed. -=Mike=-

Be warned, while some like myself live by it, the initial installation process can be (sometimes) troublesome. When you get it working, the rewards are indeed bountiful!
