And about the size of an average Payless Shoe Store. Seriously. If you guys are
relying
on CEI to carry forward the Amiga technology, might as well sell your equipment
now.
IMHO.
Wasn't it CEI that prepaid an Amiga production run, I think you can say
they carried forward Amiga technology. Besides, I thought it was CEI &
Scala Inc. Scala atlease has "the engineer".

You might be surprised at how good a few engineers still at CBM USA are ! Yes,
there are still people at CBM USA on payroll – and at least one super engineer
among 'em.
Joe,
We are not directly involved with the aquisition of the Amiga technology with
any of the current bidders. We do have a relationship with CEI, to provide us
with Amiga peripherals and software for turnkey InfoChannel systems.
The new owners of the Amiga may want to consult with us since we have most of
the core Amiga Operating System Engineers at our R&D office in Exton, PA.

Consult at a suitably reasonable rate <g>. Maybe you could just throw out
a piece of Ethernet backbone between the two buildings B-). You might
even be able to convince TNAC (The New Amiga Company) to put in some nifty
stuff in the hardware only you would know about and make your software do
magic nobody else could <VBG>. Man, that would really be out-Microsofting
Microsoft <RHG>.
