Is there a best SCSI drive for the GVP Series II board? Insight sells drives from Seagate,Conner,Quantum and a host of others. Sizes range from 270M to 9.1G. Thanks in advance. -ash

Ash, The "best" is generally buying the most for your money. All drives anymore (from a reliable manufacturer) seem to be about equal. Yea, one may be a bit faster, or hold a bit more data…but all in all, they're pretty close now-a-days. Same with reliability…they are all pretty reliable. You might want to talk to GVP and see if they have any problems with any particular drive…but beyond that, get what you can afford sizewise…you'll end up using it. Don

For my money and my customers Quantum is the best drive. I don't agree that all drives great from all big manufacturers. From my experience as an Amiga dealer, Quantum SCSI drives are more reliable and are fast! And Quantum is the only manufacturer that tests it's drives on Amiga and knows Amiga. Ray
