#3D Studio drivers
6 messages in this thread
According to a Matrox download I just retrieved, Autodesk recently
added MGA to your 3D Studio 3.0 inline driver. I am trying to find
this driver to download and Matrox tells me this is available in this
forum but I am unable to locate it. Your help would be appreciated.

Jonas,
I got version 1.05 but can't get it to recognize my MGA Ultima + PCI… Didn't
John Tissarvry go through this a couple months ago?

Hi Donald,

John.. did you?
Yes, I did. As I mentioned to Donald in another reply, it was due to MB
chipset incompatibility with Vibrant's driver. The chipset was OPTI.
Switching to intel's Neptune did the trick, and got me a faster board, too.

John,
Thanks, I'll check the chipset. Geez, I hope that I don't have to pull any
teeth to make this work!
