Hi, Bill–
Welcome to the forum! I'll forward your message to rocks-and-fossils, as it
has more details than the brief mention of the show someone already made there.
Folks, Bill is talking about what used to be the Pasadena show, maybe the
biggest yearly show (at least as far as minerals and fossils go) in southern
Calif. I have been to it many times, and regret being unable to attend this
year (1300 miles can be quite discouraging at times).
Some recent chat on the Internet (see RM0035.ARC which should appear in the
library in a day or two) about southern Calif. shows made the Costa Mesa show
seem larger; that was not my impression, but maybe it was because I tend to
count mineral dealers and exhibits for more than lapidary dealers and exhibits.
Bill, general announcements like this need not be addressed to me or anyone in
particular; you can address it to "all", and that may encourage more people to
read it and respond to it.
