Let's also make sure that it runs on OS/2 or DOS 7.0 – Not everyone in the world wants to be "stuck" with a Microsoft Operating System. Judy

I don't think we consider being stuck in MS. I've been working with IBM products since 1978, and MS knows what they are doing. IBM has always tried to cut everybody out with their own special OS. It sure doesn't break my heart to see OS2 dive. The fact is the processors and memory stuff is what makes the stuff go. I doubt that WIN 95 will appear as a hot product ready to go in the time zone they have promised. An SGI renderer is to route. I would not be happy to dump my PAR and other stuff with a new OS. ..SW

Hear Hear! I agree totally, 3DS should still have the option of running from DOS. I personally detest windows, although I have to live in it at work. At home, I use it mainly for the File Manager, and of course, Cserve. If I'm working totally in a graphics environment, why would I want to take away speed and colors that Windows does? It makes no sense to me. I want my comp to run as fast as possible, which it does not in Windows. Even with Smartdrv. Greg.

I only use Windows when I need to use Composer or Painters – other wise I never start it. I prefer to work regularly in plain DOS. Judy

>>>Let's also make sure that it runs on OS/2 or DOS 7.0 – Not everyone in the world wants to be "stuck" with a Microsoft Operating System.<<< Maybe OS/2 for Windows. I seriously doubt Yost Group would be thinking anything about OS/2, that would be cutting their own life line. Windows/NT is were they are heading.
