#Animations in Windows

I've downloaded the MCI driver that lets me replay animations in Windows,
created a full screen animation script that I can run from Powerpoint 4.0 via
the Media Player, but I can't get rid of the AAPLAY box which flashes
momentarily on the screen just before and after I invoke the animation.
How do I get rid of this annoying flash? Do I have to swap animators (I refuse
to convert the flic into AVI format as I want full screen, fast animation).

The AAPLAY box that you see is your way of giving credit to Autodesk for the
player. If you want to get rid of it, you can pay royalties to Autodesk for
each distributed copy of your presentation and receive a player which has the
splash screen disabled. This amounts to $1 per copy, I believe, and is
targeted for major distribution efforts.
I have heard that if you are familiar with Visual Basic, you can use our $30
Animation Support Library kit to create your own player which does not show the
splash screen.

I only want one copy as the Animations are to be included in MS PowerPoint
presentations from one PC so does that mean I only have to send Autodesk $1???

But the $1 has to be paid up front and in cash! <grin>
Actually, you might want to try out MOVIE.ZIP in the Utilities library. It
might save you some work.
