We recently bought 3ds4, we would like to know if its possible
to scan logos and so, into the 2D SHAPER so we take those to
the 3d lofter and 3d editor as tridimentional objects.

Santiago, PMJI but yeas you can use scanned images in the shaper. You set your
image as the background in 3DS and then in the shaper you can do a see
background (alt-g). You can then trace it and loft it. This is not the best way
to do this though. One big drawback of doing this in the shaper is that you
can't zoom in on the background for detail work. I find the easiest way is to
use Corel Draw. The process is basically the same and you can zoom etc. You
export your trace as an Adobe Illustrator file and just bring that into the
shaper. Of course Illustrator will work also. Good luck.
