We have a small TV studio for our comm. studies here at Northwestern College, and are trying to improve our facilities without a lot of money available. Any ideas on how to "do-it-yourself" a teleprompter? We're soliciting donation of an Amiga or Apple II (someone donated an old ibm, but I don't know that that's of any value for this), as I've heard it can do teleprompting with some low-cost software. I'm pretty handy, but need some design aid… Also software suggestions, any other advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Barry Lawrensen Northwestern College Orange City Iowa

Barry, Check out the current issue (Jan '95). You'll find a very good article on do it yourself teleprompters. Frank

Barry, The cover states that it is the Jan '95 issue and is the current one supplied to subscribers. I don't know if it is on newstands as of yet, but if it isn't it should be soon. Frank
