Hallo LAM ! With the Quemm it works like a champ! Great!!! To Speed up the screen I bought "liquid speed" Can you tell me something about 3D Turbo to speed up rendering? Works it well? Do you know something about using Ray man together with IPAS tools? few people tell that there are problems with it.

Yeah! I helped solve a problem <g>! Just watch it with qemm though, there are so many options that you will start tinkering with them to get more memory, and all of a sudden discover that your floppy disk is working any more <g>. I believe that 3DTurbo speeds up your rendering by reducing the number of faces in your models. If you have a group of faces located next to each other, and they are all coplaner (or close to it), 3DTurbo will create a new set of fewer faces that cover the same area. Yost's Optimize routine does the same thing. I remember that there is or was an Ipas where you had 2 versions of an object, a high res version and a low res version. This ipas automatically selected which model to use based on how far away the camera was. Thus for long distance shots, the low res model was used, and the high res one for close ups. I can't find anything here though that gives the name of that routine. It could be part of 3DTurbo, not sure. I have never used Rayman, so I'm not sure how it handles the use if Ipases in a scene. Larry, I think the IPAS plug-in you're referring to (with different mesh detail for distance & close-up shots) is MESHRES, on the same disk as the Yost Group's OPTIMIZE routine. 4DVision's 3D Turbo does allow adding and deleting of individual vertices to match vertex count for morphing.
