#Truevista Pro Problems

G'day again all,
All I seem to do lately is yell for help, but here I go again!
Truevista pro board is giving a wierd problem with R4.
When displaying rendered .TGA files, you get stray Purple pixels all over the
place.
The image is fine during the render, its only when you display saved .TGA's to
put to tape…
The viewing utility with the Truevista pro works perfectly, you only get the
problem in 3DS… Any ideas anyone?????

Not sure I understand the prob correctly, (not sure if the purple pixels are
actually on the tga, or just in the display) but we had a very similar sounding
problem at a place I worked… Turned out to be the video card, a Diamond
Stealth, as I recall. In this case, the pixels were NOT on the actual image,
just appeared in the monitor. Hope this helps…

No, the pixels are not in the .TGA file, only on screen, but ONLY when viewed
via 3DS, view them with anything else and no purple pixies…hmmmmmm
Sounds like the same problem… As I recall, we replaced the video card and it
went away. But since it was just in 3DS,I thought at the time that it may have
been overkill. It was a big co. and with their $$$, so I figured no need to
argue with 'em. In your case, Vibrant has said elsewhere here that they're
trying to get new drivers u/l'ed this weekend, so you might wait and see if
that helps before hassling with the h'ware.
