I am looking for information on the specifics of the Mulitmedia partners program and the Autodesk representative handling it. Are there any third party devlopers who can offer their perspective on working with Autodesk, their support structure and contract terms. Thank you Gilbert

Hello Gilbert, I am the Developer Relations Manager for Autodesk Multimedia and am responsible for the program (which is currently under revision to accommodate 3D Studio MAX development). >>I am looking for information on the specifics of the Multimedia partners program and the Autodesk representative handling it. The program is for developers that create products that interact with our primary products. The procedure is just a matter of filling out a registration diskette and including your company's background, products, advertising, and plans for interfacing with our product line. Once approved you are eligible for technical support, development software, and advice. Prerelease software is available pending further approval and once the proper nondisclosure agreements have been exchanged. Respond with your company's mailing address and phone# by email and I will be pleased to send you an application. – Phil

>>Thank you for your reply. I saw MAX at Eyeball, NYC last week and understand it's due for release in a couple of months? Most glad you saw it! The official Autodesk statement for MAX's release is that it's scheduled for this "winter". >>Pre release software is available pending further approval. Sure: One; that you're accepted,. Two; that you are not a competitor, Three; that you return the required NDA. >>You can send the Partner registration information to: Done. Please make sure to include your advertising information and plans for work without products. Look forward to seeing your application. – Phil
