#DCTV

Does anyone know of software that will convert from DCTV formats to TIFF or
JPEG without loosing resolution? Second a way to make a slide shows or
presentations without the long pause to load and convert? It would seem to me
it should be possible to save the prossesed pic so it would load fast. Thanks-
Gary.
I used to it with Adpro, you do it by loading your DCTV image and then
executing "Rendered to raw", after that you can save the 24-bit file, as far as
slideshows, I was saving the DCTV files, and using Amigavision or Showmaker,
they let you load the DCTV files and do transitions to them, you just have to
be careful which ones you use, if they modify the top left (or right?, I
forgot) part of the screen then you will get a flash, but other than that they
work very fast.

Thanks. I'm still looking for some pd stuff mostly due to travel. It's hard to
find an Amiga store that can answer questions and demonstrate the product.
Ion't mind the price as much as does it suit my needs. Thanks again. -Gary.
Imagemaster R/t will do those things for you, and very well, too.

Thanks Ben. I'll try to find out if it will "Do All" – Gary.
As far as converting from DCTV to TIFF, I have used ADPro. Just be sure to save
the DCTV picture in 24 bit format.

Thanks! It looks like everyone likes adpro or image master Now all I have to do
is figure out which one to buy. -Gary.
Thats EASY……Adpro is More $$$ with LESS features than Imagemaster.
Adpro makes you buy TARGA,TIFF,PCX converters seperately from the prg,
their built in on Imagemaster(henceforth IM), Adpro Lacks a Morph section
which IM has built in, And IM has TONS of Special FX that are not present
in ADPro. I suggest you try to get a demo of both prg's before buying
tho.
BTW I own both prgs 😉
