I read a lot about problems in field rendering with certain IPAS and wrong fiels orders. I had similar problems and so I had my programmer develop a little DOS program that can split any TGA in two files each containing one field. The program is also able to join those field-files or any other TGAs into one file. So you just have to render with a aspect ratio of 0.5 and half height and can later join this files. Would such a program be interesting for anyone? Let me know, maybe I could download a demo or something. Murat

Murat, Sounds interesting… We had MANY probs. re: field render anamolies resulting in what we could only call "stuttering" (both in the final errors on v-tape, and the way we would leave the studio in the A.M.!!!). So, yes any attempt @ a workaround would be usefull (a bug-fix would of course be "nicer").I won't even begin to relate the multiple mis-adventures/communications to this forum re: the field rendering/anamoly issues… Anywhoooo, Yes your idea sounds good. The field interlacing (when layed to tape)b'tween the images might be a hurdle, but let's see. Thanks for your time & efforts. Theo. Artz

Theo: Hoped that it would be interesting for someone else, because it saved me a lot of trouble. But I'm really not shure how to offer this program, because it cost me a lot of mony, software "engineers" are quite expensive here in germany. Maybe I could turn it into and declare it as shareware? What if i just turn it into a helpful freeware for all you out there, living with all the problems I live with? I would appreciate opinions on that. Murat

Theo: (BTW, is this your first name?) I just reread your message and wondered about the hurdle with the field interlacing, could you explain that? Murat
