Despite chosing all the objects in the 3d list and turning 3d display on in the Shaper, only 2 objects will display on the screen. The same problem in the Lofter. Can the shaper or the lofter display a 3d scene from the keyframer where I have many instances, or only from the 3d editor? Anyyway, I can't seem to get either one to display objects in the shaper or lofter except for 2 obscure objects. Thanks, Peter Landeck

G'day Peter, Are all the objects that are NOT visible in the shaper and lofter 'instance objects'? I haven't had any problems with 3D display so far… -Peter

No, I don't think that's it. I have some instance objects and some 3d objects in the keyframer. Does the shaper take its 3d display from the keyframer or from the 3d editor? Are you saying that instance objects won't display? G'by, Peter Landeck (Are you Australian? Coming to the Atlanta olympics?)

Hi Peter. The shaper takes its 3d display from the 3d shaper. You can control what angle you view the 3d shapes from by which viewport you choose in the 3d shaper. Matthew Samia

Peter, As I recall, objects that are hidden in the 3D Editor will not be visible with the 3D display in either the Shaper or Lofter. You might want to verify that those objects that don't display are unhidden (maybe even unfrozen, I don't recall) in the 3D Editor and that they are visible in the active 3D Editor viewport. Hope that solves it. Alden

3D Display only works w/ what is visible/unhidden in 3D Ed's active window; Keyframer is right out.
