I'm doing a house interior and want the sun to cast through the windows, but
i'm
getting light in places it shouldn't be. The wall and roof vertices are all
welded.
the roof is a 2-sided material, and overhangs the wall 30" or so.
The undesired light is at the very top 10" of the wall that the light is
pointing
towards and alittle in the corner???? How is it getting through the roof
surface?
All other spot lights are off. I've moved the roof alittle above and below the
wall.
If I move the sun to the other side, the band of light shows up on the other
wall.
I've tried everything I can think of, I give up. Any help would be greatly
appreciated,
TOM
Tom,
Have you tried attaching the roof to the walls? This might do the trick.
Another thing to try is increase the size of your shadow map. I find that
bumping it up to 1024 will often help shadow anomalies, particularly with
(relatively) distant sun-type lights.
Hope this helps,
SCL
