We are using 3d studio and animator pro to create FLC files to use with a CD rom project. We have been converting these to AVI files when we have to sync audio to them. Is there any way to link audio to a flc file? John

<<Is there any way to link audio to a flc file?>> There are many ways. The slickest yet most difficult is to include it in a program using C++, Fastgraph routines, etc. An easier way is to script it in AAPLAY, included with Animator Pro. Depending on the degree of sophistication required, this is a pretty good program, but has its limitations as far as sound goes. Animator Studio's sciptor will work too. For me, the ultimate way to add both simultaneous sound and music to your flics is with Director. It's easy to use and produces great output. Tom Marlin Studios

Tom, Thanks I will check out animator pro. C++ is out of our range of expertise. We are using Multimedia Toolbook, but I have been seeing more CDs come across my desk done in Director. We will have to check it out. John

Dave, I mean the second link. We will have a lot of animations that need sound effects or voice overs. We don't need to be frame accurate but they should track within a half second. John

>> Dave could you list these please? << holy cow. i'll do one better. YOU go to multimedia forum and graphics forum and do a search using keywords WAV, FLC and FLI… the list is enormous. use GO MULTIMEDIA or GO GRAPHSUPP to reach these forums. in Wincim, you can use the the Library/Search option using keywords WAV, FLI and FLC. -dave
