#Cyberware?

Hi all! Can anyone help me to get in touch with a company called Cyberware? They do I 3D object scanning, and are located in Monterey, CA. A client of mine may need some objects digitized, and would like to talk to them. She tried directory assistance, but got nowhere. We are located in Hawaii, so driving there is out of the question. <grin>. Mahalo and Aloha. Happy New Year everyone!

I'll see If I can find them in Cinefex magazine for ya tho ya might try 1-800-DATASET to contact Viewpoint as they also do 3D digitizing

Thanks Peter! I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask Viewpoint… Hope I'm not in for sticker shock! If you do find out anything on Cyberware, please let me know.

I don't think Cyberware is any less Expensive than Viewpoint.

Ok lets see I have the new issue of Cinefex in front of me, lemme find Cyberware's # for ya…… ok well so far I've not found Cyberware but have found Cyber F/X who also do 3D Color Digitizing. Their # is 818-248-3279 or fax at 818-248-6756 ooooops just read their Ad, they use Cyberware Process 😉 Memeber of AMP Midgard Graphics

Hey! That numbers Local to me :^) Wouldn't that be cool to get a Demo? 3D _color_ Digitizing could be kind of a grey area. They could mean that they'll shoot a 'Real' 3D object with an electronic camera in studio. Thus 'Digitizing' a book or whatever. I wonder if anyone here uses any kind of 3D Scanner? I'd love to have one to play with. Prices are getting reasonable. Of coarse, I want lots of toys first.

Hiya John, in the Ad they mention that they use a Cyberware Digitizer process so I would imagine they are talking about making 3D models 😉 Me Too I want Lots of Toys too….. Like a new Camera, an enlarger a Video printer a NLE system ad infinitum

Cyberware 8 Harris Court Monterey, CA 93940 (408) 373-1441 (408) 373-3582 FAX Cyberware makes the special software and special hardware… other companies buy their products and open service bureaus. Yes, both the original gizmo and third-party scanning services are expensive.
