Karl, <<I doubt it's possible to get it to the States at a reasonable price though. There's also the problem of different standards (PAL/NTSC).>> I have a machine that plays PAL/NTSC/SECAM and all the rest, so I've got that covered. The price for shipping is a good question, and one I wouldn't know. My guess is that it wouldn't cost that much to ship it; I mean, the tape isn't that heavy. You're shipping from Germany, right? Waiting till Motorola decides to release that 68060. Chris Shepard: 030/50 A2000 with Toaster 4000 & MacIIfx via Emplant.

Chris, Karl would be shipping from Belgium, and just to give you an idea, today I received a Sony Playstation game (smaller than a video cassette) posted in the centre of Brussels to my home on the edge of Brussels, which cost the sender Bf246 (around eight dollars) and took six days to get here! Chris, From Germany it will cost (250 g – 500 g, air mail DM 24/surface mail DM 12). Besides, the entire broadcast will be in German. I hope that is no problem! Jurgen

<<From Germany it will cost (250 g – 500 g, air mail DM 24/surface mail DM 12). Besides, the entire broadcast will be in German. I hope that is no problem! I'd probably go with the surface mail–DM12. I also know German; not very well, but it's an excuse for me to brush up on my old vocabulary. The surface mail will give me the time to brush up on it too. Right now, I'm in my 2nd Year of German. If I could just remember my vocabulary words, and get those "die's, der's, and das's" straight I'd be alright. Waiting till Motorola decides to release that 68060. Hi Chris, Airmail takes around five days, surface mail around six to eight weeks! The old problem: der, die, das. Besides, today I tried to explain my colleague (he is an American) the following: beggar (singular) – beggars (plural) Bettler – Bettler Bettlerin – Bettlerinnen! Not bad, or? I understand he was confused after this explanation. He said that he could send the tape via US mail. That will cost less than 8 dollars, probably five or so. Jurgen

> I'd probably go with the surface mail–DM12 Hmm, surface mail takes about 6 to 10 weeks — go with airmail and you get your tape in about a week to 10 days. Christian

<<Hmm, surface mail takes about 6 to 10 weeks — go with airmail and you get your tape in about a week to 10 days.>> I need to brush up on my German, anyway. I read well in German, but I don't listen well in German. I figure the time I wait is long enough for me to learn my old vocabulary again. Waiting till Motorola decides to release that 68060. Chris, >> My guess is that it wouldn't cost that much to ship it; I mean, the tape isn't that heavy. << I ordered a Senna CD-ROM a few months ago from the USA. I was charged $16 for shipment and a total of about $20 for all kinds of local-taxes. If you find this acceptable, I'll mail it to you. >> You're shipping from Germany, right? << From Belgium actually, but whey're neighbours. <<If you find this acceptable, I'll mail it to you.>> Sounds good. Someone mentioned that surface mail was 12DM. I'd probably go with that. We can discuss my address, price of tape, etc over E-Mail. When is the AT suppossed to be on TV? Waiting till Motorola decides to release that 68060. Chris Shepard: 030/50 A2000 with Toaster 4000 & MacIIfx via Emplant.
