My HP5MP is completely software controlled too, but the HP4 driver software I told you about may be able to set the internals in the Epson, I don't know for sure, but it's worth a try. What do you mean "not to use the internal fonts"? The only time the printer will use internal fonts is when your printing out in plain ASCII text. If you're printing out of a graphic Word Processor like Final Writer or DTP program like PageStream, that use scalable fonts, the fonts you use in your document are the fonts you get printed out. Ray

I know some users do use Studio's SetupPJL program with Epson printers. So it seems, that the Epson printers are pretty compatible. However, I can't remember wich Epson printer was used and what PJL settings are supported by the Epson. At least it seems to work for the basic SetupPJL functions like EconoMode.

I thought it might work with the Epson's I have a question for you, I have a customer who is very interested in buying a Lexmark Optura laser printer for his Amiga system. Does Studio II's HP driver work well with the Lexmark 1200dpi printers? He owns Studio II now, but not the latest version. Most of his work will be in Postscript from Pagestream & Final Writer, but he is wondering about lower dpi work in non-postscript with Studio II. Thanks, Ray Tronix Micro Systems
