Video Toaster 3.1 / Amiga 4000 I need to store more than 99 trext pages in a book. Because it takes some time to load a new book, it's not practical during a live production to switch. Yes I AM VERY NEW to Video Toaster (but not new to programming). Is there a way to either store more than 99 pages, or to transfer pages from one book to another, or to reduce the book load time? Or is there another soulution that I am not aware of. My primary concern/need is the ability to punch up text pages as I need them, and not have to re-key them week after week. Thanks for any and all help …Alan

Alan, <<Is there a way to either store more than 99 pages>> Nope. Don't forget Page 0. 100+ are for Framestores, so the only option is to make a new book. <<or to transfer pages from one book to another>> The new 4.0 might, I don't know. The only thing I can think of is using your existing book, erasing or changing the pages you don't need, and saving the book under another name. That's what I did. There's no Cut & Paste feature that I can see. (I hope I'm wrong, cause I could really use that feature.) <<or to reduce the book load time?>> Load the book separately. It's faster than loading a whole project. That's about all I can think of. Well, you could put all of your important pages first and cancel the load after Page 35 for example. Then you'll have a book with only 35 pages loaded instead of 99. Hope this helps out. Waiting till Motorola decides to release that 68060.
