how do I use these demos that have the .dms suffix? I have an A1200 with 6mb
ram and an 80mb hd and dopus. Thank you for your help.

You'll need a program called DMS (disk masher). It expands a .dms file to df0:
.Available at aminet and other fine pd software outlets:-)

Charles,
<how do I use these demos that have the .dms suffix?>
You need DiskMasher. It's availble here in the AmigaUser library
Archivers/Crunchers. Use DMS as a search word.

Charles, PMFJI, but I asked the same question about the dms file extension a
couple days ago. dms goes with a utility that compresses an entire disk. It's
called Disk Masher. Amigauser Library 14 (Archivers), DMS201.SFX, has it as a
self-extracting archive. Decompress by bringing up a shell, CD to the
directory DMS201.SFX is in, then type DMS201.SFX and hit return. The program
and all of it's ancillary files will be decompressed. VR, Tim Knutson
Thank you very much for your help. Yours was the best reply of all! Charlie
You have to decompress them with DiskMasher. Look in the Archivers library
(Lib. 14) using DMS for a keyword.
