Hi Bob…
Yes I meant to say Graphics Workshop… Been there.. wore the T shirt …bought
the book wrote my own etc …et al. great program… one of the best intro's to
PC (or any other) graphics books I've ever seen… and so on… As you can
guess I'm a Rimmer fan. I learn't how to write GIF code from his first book.
Ease of use has to be GWS's main strenght either the DOS or Windoze version.
If you've ever seen a newcomer to say…. CorelDraw trying to work out how to
draw a straight line you can probably empathise with my feeling that there's
something going seriously wrong in the software world…. and ease of use is a
big part of it.
I'll try and dig out that message you mentioned and help if I can.

I'm with you on the trend to complicate software packages, also seems to be a
contest to clutter the screen with the most floating palettes, menus, buttons
and icons.

I just got a stealth 64 dram card with a vision 868 chipset and the tests fail
when config vibrant. My older card with the 864 chipset works fine. When
vibrant comes out with the new driver soon do you know if it wil support the
later class of the 64 dram card with the 868 chipset? thank you

Do you have the latest vibrant drivers from the library here? I believe the
Stealth 64 DRAM is covered.
