I would like to hear from some anyone that is using a Windows NT workstation and 3DS. Need to know how well it works and what kind of speed performance you get.

Hi Guy, << 3DS Dos and NT >> The only advice I can offer is to download the following…. File Info for 3DS4-NT.ZIP Section: HWare/OpSys/Video Contributor: 70303,1363 Size: 82424 Submitted: 6/24/95 Type: Binary Accesses: 373 Title: Running 3DS R4 Under Win NT 3.51 Keys: 3DS WIN NT DRIVERS This ZIP file contains instructions and Sentinel Pro lock drivers for running 3D Studio R4 under Windows NT 3.51. These instructions are not fully tested and are provided "as is". They DO NOT represent Autodesk support for running 3DS R4 under Win NT. (Sysop note: This will not be supported by Autodesk). .(Approx DL at 2400 baud: 5:00; at 14400 baud: 1:00)

I read that, but wanted to know more about performance. The machine in the test had limited RAM that would greatly affect performance. Let me know if you hear anything. Thanks.

FWIW Jonas, Raptor is a popular line of Alpha clones, and I think that Guy was asking if you could run 3DS MAX on an Alpha… Mark

Guy, << I would like to hear from some anyone that is using a Windows NT workstation [Raptor] and 3DS. >> Nothing has been officially announced on Alpha support for 3DS MAX. Mark
